DDD NEW TEACHING SERIES 2019: “The Wilderness”

Share

All of us are acquainted with The Wilderness. We might walk through for a day, live there for a season, or find one barren area of our lives that refuses to grow. A spiritual Wilderness might look like:

  • a wild, uncultivated or barren region
  • a confused mass or collection
  • a place where we lack community and influence
  • an area where our pleas and prayers are seemingly ignored

These deserts can leave us feeling dry, isolated, fruitless, and stuck. Most of all, we just want The Wilderness to end!

Let’s do more than just survive The Wilderness. Join us on September 17th, and we’ll learn to navigate this terrain together. Over time, we’ll see God cultivating our personal Wilderness into abundant fields, as He promises in Scripture.

In the Bible, we’ll study accounts of The Wilderness and learn about:

  • Finding God’s purposes in The Wilderness
  • Identifying mindsets that are not beneficial and not biblical
  • Leveraging the solitude to sharpen our spiritual eyes and ears
  • Anticipating the new things that are birthed in barren places
  • Growing in our sense of well-being based on deeper trust in God

DDD is an amazing community of women who love God and love each other! We sing, learn, listen, and pray together each week. Our small groups also provide you with a safe place to grow under the leadership of wise women.
