Hello Friends:

Thank you so much for being a part of the Divine Design community! God has been at work in our midst and, as many of you know, has called me to a time of Sabbatical. It has been an interesting journey so far and I wanted to share with you how this will be reflected in our ministry this year. Here a few things you’ll want to know about our New Season:

o Kickoff: Join us at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 18th. We meet in room C316 at Covenant Presbyterian. Our emphasis is shifting toward offering all of our resources online. This year there will be no physical supplies or class fees.
o Curriculum: Our theme will be “Beholding Jesus,” lessons from the book of John. Martha has agreed to co-teach with me this year. We plan to offer lots of opportunities to develop deeper connection with Him. That includes the instruction that will happen before praise and “listening prayer” moments throughout the morning—don’t miss it!
o Small Groups: Our existing groups will start back on the first day of class. For new women who desire mentoring, Small Group placement forms will be accepted until Tuesday, Oct 2nd. For those who don’t join a group, I will be available for sharing and prayer during group time.

Another exciting opportunity for your growth is in the area of giving back. We are asking those of you who have been blessed by Divine Design to prayerfully consider investing in it. We could use your help with any of the things listed below:
o Financial: Contribute financially to the costs of this ministry. We sense God leading us to expand our reach using the website. Your gifts will allow us to maintain and upgrade it.
o Communications: Could you help by preparing praise lyrics in Power Point, running the slide show during praise time, staying late to clean up, drafting address lists, etc.?
o Prayer Team: Come at 9:15 on Tuesdays to meet with the other team members and pray for Divine Design and stand in the gap for the specific needs of individuals in our study. Team members also may serve as prayer assistants at Trumpet Call.

Please prayerfully consider your participation in light of these changes. I’m sure many of the exact details will be decided on a week-to-week basis. That keeps things fresh and all of us looking to God. Feel free to contact any of the Leadership Team with your questions and input in the meantime. And, by all means, forward this email to anyone that you want to bring along. I’ve got lots of excitement about all this newness and know that God is up to something good!

In Christ’s Love,
