Counting On God, Part 16 – 03/27/12 | Divine Design Discipleship

This week we continued our discussion of strongholds and how seeds of future misfortune are often planted in times of great success and prosperity. 2 Sam 5:11-13 shows us how, in his great prosperity, David chose to take many wives and concubines which led to much strife and suffering for him in the future. Kathy used David’s example to review the anatomy of a stronghold and gave us a list of many common strongholds as well. She reminded us that our appetites and addictions cause us to lust but that we have the choice to trust God instead.
