Counting On God, Part 11 – 01/31/12 | Divine Design Discipleship

This week we continued our discussion on bearing fruit by looking at the story of Gideon in Judges 6. We looked at how we can bear fruit in the midst of situations when it doesn’t “look” or “feel” like God is with us. Like Gideon, we too can learn to trust God and be the valiant warriors He has called us out to be. Specific strategies we discussed included giving thanks, sowing seeds of faith, worshipping God according to His character (i.e. the God of Peace), dedicating ourselves to God and His will, and asking God for specific vision in the midst of our circumstances.
